This was a prize for me. I watched this fellow for at least 5 hours and some hundred shots. The male arrives about 2 weeks before the female and his job is to search out a nesting sight. There colour is vivid, as they are mating and starts to fade as the season goes on. Trojan Pond has now become a choice location on my Spring calendar.
